Answer assistance inside supported Courseware activities
For a supported Courseware question, the browser extension scans the visible activity and exposes the answer assistance available for that widget. Review the result before moving to the next item.
Start with one recognized question. A choice question, a dropdown and a matching activity use different controls, and a result on one item does not establish support for the whole course.

- What you need
- A signed-in StudyOutlaws account, your Courseware tab and one exposed single-choice, matching, dropdown or supported lesson question.
- What to do
- In the StudyOutlaws Chrome extension, select Edmentum and Scan current question while one Courseware question is open.
- What to check
- Review the question kind, detected text and returned answers. Answers are not submitted. A no-question or multiple-question response is an unsupported state.
- If it does not work
- Open one supported question, wait for it to load and scan again. If embedded frames cannot be read or the activity is unsupported, use the Courseware controls manually.
This is an in-page Chrome extension scan. There is no dashboard assignment runner. The separate answer-generation endpoint is not the scan control.
Controls and result walkthrough
- Scan current question is the real extension control. Keep one supported Courseware question open.
- The HTTP preview returns an explicit Preview example: 43 = 20 + z/3, z = 69. This is not live Courseware evidence.
- Answers are not submitted. No-question, multiple-question, unreadable-frame and timeout states remain unsupported; use the activity manually if recovery fails.

Which Courseware questions are supported?
The published beta describes single-choice, matching/dropdown and supported lesson widgets when the activity provides usable answer information. An unrecognized widget or missing source answer remains a limitation.
Does this include Exact Path, Study Island or Apex Learning?
No. Current Courseware coverage does not establish support for those separate products. Apex Learning remains a planned platform.
Does Edmentum run in the dashboard?
Edmentum assistance currently runs in the Chrome extension. It is not one of the dashboard's linked-account assignment runners.
