Edmentum Courseware extension setup and coverage
Scan one supported Edmentum Courseware question in the StudyOutlaws Chrome extension. This control returns detected question text and answers for review; it does not submit or complete an activity.

How it works

Use your own Courseware activity and show one supported question.

Controls and result walkthrough
- Scan current question is the real extension control. Keep one supported Courseware question open.
- The HTTP preview returns an explicit Preview example: 43 = 20 + z/3, z = 69. This is not live Courseware evidence.
- Answers are not submitted. No-question, multiple-question, unreadable-frame and timeout states remain unsupported; use the activity manually if recovery fails.
Supported activity and returned result
- The scanner reads exposed single-choice, matching, dropdown and supported lesson widgets. The current question must be readable in the tab or its accessible frames.
- A result lists the detected kind, question text and answers. “Answers are not submitted” is the intended behavior.
- Example: a readable single-choice Courseware question is detected, its question text appears, and an answer list is shown. Review the detected text against the question before using it.
Unsupported state and recovery
- No readable question: wait for the activity to load and open a supported question before scanning again.
- More than one question detected: isolate one question instead of guessing which result belongs to the activity.
- Unreadable/unsupported embedded frame, more than 32 frames, tab changed, or scan timeout: return to the intended Courseware tab and try a single supported question. Use the activity manually if the state persists.
- No answer returned: keep the item unresolved. The scanner does not create an activity-completion result.
What the cost applies to
The current extension Scan current question message requires StudyOutlaws authentication but has no paid-plan gate and no task-credit charge. A separate server answer-generation endpoint has a 0.5-credit price; this scan control does not call that endpoint. Do not infer a paid runner or submission capability from it.
Walkthrough evidence
The annotated extension screenshot uses its explicit HTTP preview fixture. It shows the actual control and result layout, not a live Courseware success. Live coverage for each school configuration remains unverified.
