Start a Membean Normal Session

1. Connect the Membean account

   Open Membean

   Choose Membean in the dashboard, then select Normal Session.

   Select Connect account

   Enter the Membean username and password used by the student.

   Save the login

   Wait for the account strip to show that the login is ready.

2. Configure the session

Choose a duration from 5 to 60 minutes. The accuracy setting is a range, and each run chooses one target within that band. Question delay controls the wait before answers, while learning-page delay controls how long learning screens remain open.

• Accuracy target defaults to 75–90%.
• Question delay defaults to 7.5–20 seconds.
• Learning-page delay defaults to 30–90 seconds.

3. Add optional Discord notifications

Paste a Discord webhook, enable Discord notifications, and save the webhook. The notification setting is optional and does not change the training behavior.

4. Start or schedule the session

Select Run now to start immediately. The run card shows session logs and provides Cancel session while work is active. To automate later, choose the schedule type and time, select weekdays when needed, and save the schedule. Schedules use the account marked In use.

Training and assessment in Chrome

The unified beta provides answer highlighting and optional automation for supported training and assessment questions, with writing, accuracy and timing controls. Keep the legacy Membean extension when you rely on its workflow; enable only the intended extension on a page.

Reuse a deliberate training preset

Choose the training duration and accuracy range, then review answer and learning delays. Save a preset only after checking these values. A recurring schedule should show the correct linked account and timing.

Discord notifications are optional. Enable them only when you want session status delivered there; verify the configured destination before relying on completion notifications.

Check the result and recover the setup

Review the session status and recorded training result. Starting a session does not confirm completion or a score.

If sign-in expires, reconnect Membean in the dashboard. If no unfinished assessment appears, check the selected account and assessment availability before retrying.

The Chrome extension works with a supported training or assessment page you have open. Dashboard sessions have separate connection, timing and scheduling controls.

Training recovery

For an expired connection, reconnect Membean and choose the training duration again. Inspect the recorded training minutes and run status after completion. Assessment availability, start/submit modes and continue controls belong in the separate Assessment Session guide.
