Google Classroom coursework and answer-sheet setup

What content can be read

• Native short-answer and multiple-choice question text can be read. Response entry and turn-in for these question types remain manual.
• Text-only assignments without materials can be read from the description.
• Google Forms questions require owner/editor API access. A student responder-only link does not expose an answer key.
• PDF, image, Word/Google Docs, Slides, video and other attached material are not general file-solving inputs. If materials cannot be resolved, read them manually; do not treat an empty result as a solved file.

Creation, attachment and submission

• Create answers returns the readable question results. A result is not proof of attachment or turn-in.
• For developer-associated ASSIGNMENT coursework, the workflow can create a plain-text Drive answer sheet, then attach it to the student submission. Open the returned Drive URL and check every answer.
• The entire write path, including Drive answer-sheet creation, attachment and automatic turn-in, requires the student coursework scope, a submission record associated with this developer application, and complete answer coverage. Teacher-created assignments normally are not associated with this application, so only answer review is available here. Create or attach any required response and turn it in manually in Classroom.
• Native question coursework cannot be answered through the assignment attachment API. Enter the response and turn it in in Classroom.
• Unanswered questions, more than 30 questions or truncated content block the write path. Complete missing work manually.

Connection errors and recovery

• Expired or revoked connection: reconnect Google, select the correct account and grant the requested scopes, then reload courses.
• School administrator blocks OAuth: ask the school administrator to allow the application or use Classroom manually. Repeated sign-in does not remove an admin restriction.
• Missing course/work: check the connected account, enrollment and coursework availability in Classroom.
• Drive creation or attachment fails: inspect the reported stage and any existing answer-sheet link before retrying. Confirm the existing submission in Classroom to avoid duplicate work.
